The Denver Bouldering Club strives to enhance the city’s climbing scene through motivation and fun training opportunities. It offers over 13,000 square feet of bouldering space. The staff is knowledgeable, and they provide a friendly community that will energize your workout for a more rewarding climb. If you’re just starting, don’t miss the Intro to Climbing workshop. Offered on Sundays, it covers safety techniques and the different types of climbing. The daily pass is seventeen dollars plus a small fee for shoe rental.
Earth Treks believes that climbing and community go hand and hand. It brings the mountains indoors and welcomes both beginning and experienced climbers alike. Founder Chris Warner was the ninth American to summit Everest. He has led over 200 international expeditions and produced an Emmy-nominated film for NBC. The gym features walls packed with bouldering and roped terrain. Daily passes and memberships are available, and first-timers should start with Open Climb. These sessions offer three climbing lessons, harness rental, and a skilled instructor who teaches the basics.
Movement Climbing and Fitness
Movement is home to more certified setters than any other climbing gym in the country. The routes are highly creative and challenge all skill levels. Co-founder Anne Worley Moelter pushes boundaries. She brought the first ISFC Bouldering World Cup to the United States and enjoys working alongside her husband, who once ran USA Climbing.
