Find Unique Pieces at the Depot Art Gallery Near Highlands Ranch

For unique works of art, head to the Depot Art Gallery near Highlands Ranch. True to its name, it’s found inside a restored Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad station that dates back to 1888. The building was designated a historic landmark in 1969, and the gallery opened its first exhibit nine years later. The skilled artists work in a wide range of media, and their pieces can enhance any room of your home. Here are some of the artists you can discover near our Highlands Ranch apartments.

1. Mary Clark

After 40 years in the computer industry, Mary Clark retired and picked up a paintbrush. She started by creating botanical art. In 2014, Mary painted 12 cats from a local animal shelter, and that’s how her passion for creating custom cat and dog portraits began. For a painting of your furry friend, show Mary a picture, and she’ll produce an incredible piece.

2. Teresa Maone

An accomplished visual artist, Teresa Maone works in oil, watercolor, pencil, and pastel. She enjoyed her first art lesson at 11, and later graduated from Stony Brook University with a BA in art. Today, she calls Centennial home. Teresa is looking forward to studying with local artists, and her pieces can enhance your living room, bedroom, and more.

3. Nancy Myer

Nancy Myer bought her first 35mm camera in 1976. After retiring in 2001, she started entering her photographs in juried shows in the Denver metro area. Nancy later submitted to shows throughout the state and has won numerous awards. Her work includes landscapes, animals, and abstracts.
